Nicky Rottens Burger Joint - Coronado

Awesome sports bar with TVs all around. Great food and Sunday football watching, in a perfect part of Coronado. Definitely will be back!

Touring The Midway, asked one of the Volunteer Guides where we should go to watch the Army-Navy Game…hands down, he said “Nicky Rottens”. Great suggestion! We had a blast, the food was incredible, service was amazing and we found our Navy people!

The location is second to none on Coronado. The place attracts the navy and is spacious with lots of TV’s. Should be great. I live nearby and go often due to location, not food. It is clear the owners are restaurant hacks. They need a restaurant rescue. We marvel at tables that go uncleaned or bussed for sometimes an hour. Rather than prevent flies, likely from their hygiene issues, they place fly fans on tables. There is almost no culture of bussing tables here, the staff walk by empty tables with plates with leftover food. The food is very mediocre. The fries and nachos reveal very sour fryer oil. It’s just a shame the owners don’t care. Prime time space with no reason to be so poorly run. Go and see for yourself, but take low expectations.

The boneless buffalo wings barely had any chicken. They serve the salsa and guacamole in plastic to go containers instead of bowls. Beer selection great, service is great and all the games on which is also great.

Was delicious but they need more fly away fans for their customers.
