Corowa Take Away

It's hard to find a local chippy that gets the chips just right. Golden. A little bit of cruch followed by fluffy white potato. The battered products were good also. Decent size for the money too.

Food okay but hard to find good quick take away without going to one of the fast food drive through chains of processed rubbish.

Our large family group camped at Corowa recently and two of those nights had take away. Great fish and chips, potato cakes were to die for. The hamburgers were good too. Highly recommend Corowa Take Away.

Its hard to find cafes in small country towns open after noon Saturday till Monday but in Corowa there is an excellent cafe called Corowa Take Away at 26 Sanger Street open on Sundays too when we visited offered us eat in with several tables and take away, had grilled fish with chips a battered sav and spring roll with a drink and a slushie the food was HOT and really cooked well. This cafe is open 7 days highly recommend when travelling in the wine region of Rutherglen, Wahgunyah which is only 200 metres over bridge border
