Andy's Kitchen - Corpus Christi

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Andy's Kitchen! The atmosphere was just right as we visited for breakfast with our family on Thursday before heading back to England. The food was incredible—kudos to the chefs! Our server, Mary, was fantastic, and we can't wait to return. I would definitely rate Andy's Kitchen a perfect 100 and highly recommend it if you're in the area. The café features two train tracks that run around it, which is entertaining to watch. The lady handling our payment was also very lovely, and I was impressed to see that the tables and floors were thoroughly cleaned before the next customers sat down. Keep up the excellent work, everyone! Thank you all for a memorable breakfast.

The flavors seemed a bit off during this visit. However, the muffins they serve when you first arrive are always a delightful treat. The coffee is excellent as well. I'm willing to give it another chance in the future.

First of all, THE TRAIN!! So cute. Good breakfast place. Service is absolutely outstanding. The muffins are scrumptious and every time I go there the food is delicious. Great ambiance.

One of the finest classic American diners in Corpus Christi, this Southside spot is a paradise for breakfast enthusiasts and is perfect for families, couples, or even solo diners. I often order the "Andy’s Country Breakfast," which includes two eggs cooked to your liking, bacon, sausage patties, hash browns or grits, and pancakes—it's like having a mini-buffet right on your plate! The staff is quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. You’re always welcomed with a complimentary basket of their scrumptious blueberry muffins, which pair perfectly with a cup of coffee. Children also enjoy watching the model train that runs around the restaurant. A heads-up: be sure to arrive before 8:45 AM on weekends, or you might end up waiting. While waits can reach up to 45 minutes, they usually turn tables around faster than that.

Second time here and it was just as good an experience as the first. Service is great and the highlight of the meal is always the blueberry muffins! Always crowded for breakfast so expect a wait but worth it!
