Panjo's Pizza - Corpus Christi

Service is good and friendly. Pizza however is no better than a frozen pizza from the grocery store. Saw Panjos on a Day Tripper episode, but was underwhelmed.

Pizza is absolutely horrible! I waited for nearly an hour for a large pizza. The pizza came out so greasy. Not crispy at all it was soggy from all the grease. And the price was ridiculous.

Disappointed. Clean your ovens, my pizza had black liquid residue. The ham did not taste fresh. Pizza took way too long. Also, don't put customers in an uncomfortable position of having to leave an unjustified tip. Customers have to walk up to order, get their own drinks, get their own condiments and walk up to get the cooked pizza. Yet you ask customers to answer the tip amount question before signature. Just take the payment and signature. Your not providing any service requiring a tip.

I grew up in Corpus. Lived on Vance. Went to Fraser Elementary across the street from gulfway shopping center. Panjos was awesome. A great treat for us growing up. Had friends that worked there and my brother. Their pizza was the best bar none. I built this pizza as a standard for every pizza that I would ever eat in my lifetime. Nothing ever matched. Pizzahut came close. Recently 2024 June, my brother and I made it a point to eat there. We have moved away and live in other states. We both enjoy a supreme. In which now is the works. They didn't have anchovies. I added jalapenos. The crust was fantastic as always and there was a generous amount of toppings, but it lacked the panjos flavor that I had almost a year before when I was there. The youth servers were okay ,but didn't have that I'm glad you're here feeling. The patrons were happy and friendly as to be always expected. My enjoyment is still there, but something was definitely missing.

My husband used to go to Panjos in Houston and always loved it. We would come to Corpus with our boys when they were younger and always came to Panjos. Loved it. I read some bad reviews recently, but decided to come anyway. Glad we did. The pizza was wonderful!!! Customer service was great!!
