Rudy 's Country Store And -b-q

I wanted to pick up at rudy's dinner, but it seems that 35 to 40 people had the same idea when I went into the door. it's a big barbecue good worker, but I had to go that I couldn't wait so long. I think I'm getting my back here.

Smells delicious as soon as you walk in. They are offering stuff spuds now. Service was excellent. There was a long line when we got there but went by so fast. Plenty of room to sit. Awesome place.

If you need gas and bbq, this is a good place to go! While I didn’t buy gas, I did buy food. Glad I did! The brisket was excellent! As was the banana pudding and the peppery bbq sauce. Didn’t have a long wait for food, and staff was helpful to a newbie. Decor was on brand for what you’d expect from a bbq place. Would eat here again.

Had to try Rudy’s with all the great reviews and it lived up to the expectations. Brisket was my favorite and that should always be perfect in Texas. It was... I got moist (lean is the other option) it was cooked to perfection. Great flavor and tender. Basically, Rudy’s did everything right. The sides were all wonderful and my daughter loved the corn on the cob. Rudy’s staff were friendly and helpful with cheerful smiles and that gregarious Texas demeanor. Love the place and you can even fuel up your vehicle after dinner! Easy location right off the main road and a must stop in Corpus Christi. Easy to load up some take home too which seemed to be the thing locals were doing which is always a good sign of a great restaurant!
