Tannins Wine Bar Tapas Restaurant

Yesterday evening, we celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of friends at a restaurant. Unfortunately, we were told that we could not sit together as they only allow groups of eight or smaller to sit together, and we had 10 people. The staff "warned" us that if two of us tried to stand the daughter, they would ask us all to leave. Instead, we decided to leave and spent our money elsewhere, where there were no problems accommodating a group of 10 people.

The service was excellent, with a good selection of wine and beer available. I ordered a charcuterie board, which had enough food for 3 or 4 people to share, and a delicious flat pizza. The creme brulee topped with fresh strawberries was the perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere was very relaxed and is great for individuals looking to unwind, a romantic date night, or a small group of friends. There was a list of upcoming live music events posted on the wall, adding to the overall experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

My partner and I have attempted to dine at three different restaurants, only to be turned away. The last time was the final straw, as we were denied entry due to being at "full capacity," according to the waitress. As we tried to decide where to go next for our special celebration in the parking lot, we noticed another couple who were seated within minutes. I typically wouldn't bring up race, but as Hispanic individuals, we seem to always be turned away when trying to dine at this establishment. I have tried reaching out to the manager, who has returned my calls, but my busy work schedule prohibits me from discussing the issue during business hours. Despite numerous attempts to reconnect with the manager, it seems as though my message is not getting through. I strongly advise against dining here! The waitress is impolite, the establishment is cramped and disorganized, and the customer service is downright awful.

My son is a regular patron and Its a hub for that 20-30 aged crowd. Theyhave a unique menu with twists of classic items like pizza ,etc. They only serve beer and wine and its a relatively small place but they have tables outside so as long as weather isn't cold its enjoyable. I didn't pay so I don'tknow the cost, but its always full so I imagine its reasonable.
