Trattoria Taddei - Corpus Christi

With an appetite for Italian food cultivated by life, while I worked in Bella Napoli for more than eight years, I was very impressed by the food, the staff and the man behind it...Vasco Taddei. The menu, and especially the execution was top shelf, and a welcome to find in Corpus, home to mostly chain restaurants. Another highlight was a spirited tour through the kitchen, and a whole Italian food focused on talking to Vasco himself. He is proud to offer an authentic culinary experience through his love for his food, which he now shares with those who have found this hidden jewel in the Coastal Bend! The only negative I could offer was that the bread was not particularly inspired, and seemed from the Sync with the high caliber of menu points. We'll be back!

We had a great dinner at Trattoria Taddei in Corpus Christi. We started with salad in homemade Balsamico vinaigrette simple and tasty. My wife had Zuppa di pesce it was loaded with shrimp, fish, mussels, octopus and mussels in a delicious broth. I had lobster ravioli in pink sauce with a meatball, my plate was fantastic....homemade pasta and sauce it was excellent. After spending a few weeks in Italy, we are simply the most authentic Italian food we had for a few years. The service was very good, and the meal was above our expectations.

Put your hands down the best meal I had in Corpus! Warm, cozy atmosphere and wonderful customer service. The gnocchi and ravioli were homemade and amazing, will definitely come back!

I am an Italian from New York and that was the best, most authentic Italian food I had since I arrived in Texas! The pasta was fabulous, great service and wonderful atmosphere. My new favorite place to eat. Like eating in Nonna's kitchen. Mangiare!

The best Italian food I've had! And the people are very kind and accommodating. Want something that's not on the menu? Chances are they'll make it for you! When I go to corpus I always have to come here.
