The center of the burrito was not even warm chili Riano had more breading then chili by far,it was like a fair corn dog that has a ton of dough and no flavor also not even warm in the center. Very disappointed.
Well las Ristras you blew it. As transplants from Houston we wanted to make taco Tuesday a tradition After 3 failed taco Tuesday experiences we will never come back. Service is poor at best. There's a lot of unorganization by the staff and waiters. Everytime Weve gone I had to prompt the staff to seat me and wait on me. Basic stuff Guys
Friendly people, great staff, awesome owner, good food, cold beer and the best entertainment.
Can't speak totally about the entrees as I'm vegetarian, and i'm sure the regular entrees are better than the veggie ones. However, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. The queso (appetizer) and rice(side) both tasted like there was Old El Paso taco seasoning in it definitely nothing special. We also ordered guac for an appetizer and the waitress made it tableside which seems like it would be a good idea but i just felt bad for her, because she had to mix it with two forks and it took a good, awkward 10 minutes. It also was just avocado, pico, garlic salt and lime super basic guac recipe. Tasted fine, but wasn't really worth the trouble. There was a live band which was nice, and there's a decent wine selection. I just feel like this place is very forced and it has potential but definitely isn't reaching it.
Very quaint restaurant, the server was awesome and the food was good. The rinds were very tasty so was the Cajun shrimp
