It's nice that this time it wasn't a life-threatening reaction. they didn't wear masks. the bowl was also subpar. would recommend to go somewhere where they have a shredded human standing and actually know how to make a decent acai bowl.
They will not come here if they have allergies. my partner had an allergic reaction, so I brought back the bowl to ask if there is anything in it. the owner has accused me only to get a free dish that is allergy to make use of the advantages of his small business. it was the most careless customer interaction I ever had. I felt bad for the worker who was a woman of the color that supported him. the next time I suggested that they could ask if people have allergies (common practice to other places), the owner began laughing at me to comment on blocking pages to his worker as if I were not even there. he said the cross-contamination is happening all the time? so it is not their task to support “one who needs an epi pen”. an erdnus allergy is the most common allergy, so this behavior is really unacceptable. personally I worked in food service, and that was absolutely incredible. also all this comes from a white man who has an açaí square. who also do not wear masks in a pandemic while working with means of life *edit given answer of the owner: look at yelp for so many other reviews mention terrible customer service, unhygienic practices, and other customers with allergy needs injured. sad, but not shocked, I'm one of many.
Some of the best açaí I had. unique and fascinating Açaí menu and so delicious. they will be the best looking shells that she also had I guarantee!
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how their service is always good and they keep the spot well organized at all times. Rates are affordable and they serve sizeable portions.
Love this place! We live in Hawaii and wanted to order a gift card by phone for a friends son of ours and they made it super easy. Even wrote a sweet customized note and mailed it off for us! Now that's customer service with a super happy customer from afar! Thank you for going the extra mile above and beyond to fulfill our surprise for a very special boy to us!
