Angel's End Zone Sports - Cortez

Very warm bar maid and bar man. Had a great time. Don't miss this place! Friendly patrons. Cute, traditional bar decor with motorcycle influence. Two nice pool tables with good cues. Taco Tuesday and free pool Tuesday Thurs Kareoke Fri and sat DJ Food on Thursday and Friday Happy hour 2 pints 4.50 Bartender keeps music going the whole time. Outdoor patio for smoking.

All the way from California on a bike ride and what a great place to find. Definitely looking forward at stopping in again the next time I roll through.

For the 4th time we attempted to go to this estatablishment due to their good ratings. For the 4th time we were disappointed. Tried to go in for a drink before 10 pm, but lights all on but doors locked. Only people we saw were teens running from outdoor billiard area to their car to leave. Won't be surprised to see it closed forever in the near future. Disappointed as we like to find a local bar to hang out while there for 3-4 months. So far Cortez a letdown.

Pretty decent place if you like to dance. The owner is top notch and doesn't put up with any fighting or misbehaving. Patrons feel safe there and the drinks are done up right! Music includes a wide variety from Hip Hop to Country and some old school fun! You can karaoke if you like, play pool and catch a game or two on the tube. If you are looking for more than beer and a pool table without the fights, Angel's is your place!
