The Seafood Shack Marina, Grill

I visited Anna Maria and chose to dine at the Seafood Shack. The service was excellent, and Leah was particularly fantastic. The food was decent overall; the clam chowder was tasty, and my wife's flounder sandwich was good as well. The fries were outstanding! Our daughter loved her mac and cheese, giving it a full five stars. I ordered the stuffed cod, which was enjoyable, but the rice that accompanied it was really disappointing. I even suggested to Leah that they should consider changing the recipe. She kindly offered me fries to make up for it, but I opted to share my wife's fries (which, again, were incredible). If you're looking for a place with great rice, this might not be it, but overall, we had a wonderful experience!

We hadn’t visited the Seafood Shack in a few years, and in the past, they had an excellent seafood platter. However, when we went back on Friday, August 30th, I was quite disappointed. The processed fish was bland and tasteless, and the crab cake was more like cake than anything else. I’m not sure why they’ve switched to these processed fish cakes (which were flat, square pieces of fish), but I think it was a poor choice. We will not be returning, as there are plenty of other places to find good fish platters.

Staff was great. Food was great. Everything we ate was good. Good choice if you are looking for good fried seafood. I had the fisherman's platter with Mahi as the fresh catch. The crabcake was the only low point. Not bad just not as exceptional as everything else. The special shrimp stuffed cajun oysters were great. Fish tacos were excellent. Was not very busy for a Friday which is good but sad that food this good seems to be unnoticed.

The service was great here and the food was excellent! I was surprised it wasn’t busier on a Friday night! We also had pina coladas and it was good and a great price!! I think the oysters were the best out of everything we tried.

This is an excellent spot to visit when you're feeling hungry. Everything we tried was delicious, from the burger to the grouper sandwich. The view was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We arrived for lunch, and since it wasn't crowded, we were seated immediately. The staff was wonderful, providing great recommendations and explanations about the menu. We enjoyed the mac and cheese, a burger, and some fish dishes. I've been craving conch for ages, and they had some fritters on the menu. While the conch was a bit salty, overall, I would give this place a five-star rating. The prices were significantly lower compared to restaurants on Anna Maria Island, and the food was much better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal!
