Paddy's Pub - Cortland

This restaurant recently reopened under new ownership, but unfortunately, it seems they didn't acquire the recipes from the previous chefs. We tried the pretzel, which tasted overly salty, reminiscent of a frozen Super Pretzel. We each ordered a burger, and the flavor was so strange that I've never experienced anything like it before. I couldn't determine whether it was due to a lack of salt or seasoning, the use of an unusual or possibly spoiled butter on the grill, or something else entirely, but whatever it was, the taste was quite unpleasant. I won't be returning. It's a shame that the new Paddys doesn't come close to the quality of the old one.

I visited for the first time and absolutely loved the wings—definitely try the Irish sauce! I brought a burger home, and it was fantastic even after reheating it in the toaster oven the next day. I'm planning to take on the huge pretzel during my next visit!

This is a fantastic restaurant that has done a great job with COVID-19 precautions. The food is outstanding, featuring delicious wings and burgers, and they often serve a perfectly poured Guinness. I definitely recommend checking it out, especially between 4 PM and 8 PM when you'll find a good atmosphere for enjoying time with friends.

Looks like a place. Everyone knew when we stopped. No table service, but the food was amazing and the staff was friendly.
