Good stuff!. Tommy's is not fancy, nor do they try to be. They serve up good, quality food with friendly service and decent prices.<br/ <br/ We had a fairly large group today and the service was fast and efficient. They serve breakfast all day. Several of my dining mates chose breakfast skillets they all looked delicious. I opted for a Reuben with tater tots. It's a triple decker but not overly sized. It was just right with a generous side of tater tots.<br/ <br/ Tommy's does a nice job. I'll definitely be back.
Fill It With A Skillet.... I took one of my sisters out to a birthday breakfast at Tommy’s at around 6A.M this morning. We are big time skillet eaters, and I had caught wind that Tommy’s serves ‘em up in variety. We grabbed a corner table by the door, examined the menu, and started swigging coffee as fast as waitress could fill our little brown cups. Each skillet is accompanied with four questions: How do you like your eggs? Hash browns or home fries? What kind of Cheese? What kind of Toast? I chose the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, over easy, home fries, cheddar, and dry sourdough. My sister went with the Denver Skillet, over easy, home fries, pepper jack, and buttery white. Both skillets were wonderfully made, and the home fries were nicely cooked compared to other places in town like Sharon’s. The waitress was super friendly, helpful, and our glasses never ran dry. The two skillets and coffee rang up at just over $20. I suggest you give ‘em a taste!
Polish sausage with gravy, over easy eggs and hash browns. Amazing breakfast. I only wish they would peel the sausage before cooking it.
Huge portions and consistent quality of food and service at a great price. A true fixture of Corvallis, they have been serving us for decades. In my opinion they are the only true American diner experience in Corvallis.
