Tomatillo Taco Joint - Cos Cob

The girl at the counter with long nails and braided hair was incredibly rude. I used to frequently stop by this place when I was in Greenwich or Stamford. Unfortunately, I won't be returning due to the poor service. I recommend trying Sierra Grill in Norwalk instead; the staff is always friendly, and the food tastes great. I'm giving this place 2 stars because the food is good, but it would have been a 5 if it weren't for the rude attitude of the girl at the counter.

This will be my last visit here. The portion sizes were surprisingly tiny. I almost walked out, even after the server offered to refill the bowl. It was simply a result of her poor judgment. There didn’t seem to be any measurements or scales involved—just an attitude, and I left no tip. Good luck to them. From now on, I’ll be going to Chipotle. I’m really sorry it had to be this way. It’s tough, but life is too short for bad experiences like this. Can someone find me a better place?

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff, particularly a girl with dark skin and long pink nails, was quite rude. When we asked why our burrito bowl was less than half full, her response was, "That's the part, sorry?" It was frustrating to see that there were no scales or measuring tools being used—just her arbitrary judgment. Her begrudging agreement to add more to the bowl was the only thing that kept us from heading over to Chipotle. The overall cleanliness and atmosphere of the place were uninviting as well. Unfortunately, this wasn't our first encounter with poor service, but it will definitely be our last. We won't be wasting our time or money here again. In a post-COVID world, I feel like we should all be more selective about where we dine. I would advise my friends to steer clear of Tomatillo.

The food is delicious. My wife had a burrito and I had a gut.

If zero stars were possible! I accidentally placed the order at the wrong location and they refused to refund my card, I am a diabetic who is pregnant high risk i cannot drive 50 minutes to get my food in which i explained to the person who answered the phone and at the they were so rude. No corporate number or anything 60$ down the drain never go here professionalism sucks here and clearly they care about money more than the customers.
