I opted for the Half Half, which included both Korean BBQ and Soy Garlic flavors. Both were tasty, but I particularly enjoyed the Soy Garlic the most. It came with a side of pickled radish, which was a nice touch, although I wasn’t given a choice of sides (luckily, I love pickled radish!). I also ordered japchae with glass noodles and marinated ribeye. My server provided outstanding service, even offering me a refill of Coke to take with me, and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. Pablo, you’re doing a fantastic job with this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back!
The food was fresh, crispy, and incredibly flavorful. The wings were wonderfully crunchy and generously coated in sauce. The medium portion was quite substantial, easily enough for two people. The potstickers were exceptionally juicy. The restaurant offered plenty of free seating options, with both booths and chairs available. The server was very attentive, ensuring a great experience. However, the music was quite loud.
Bon Chon is my absolute favorite! Whenever someone asks me what I want to eat, the first thing that comes to mind is Bon Chon! Their fried chicken is out of this world, especially the soy garlic flavor—it's truly delicious! I could eat it all day long. I was feeling a bit down, so I grabbed a beer at the bar, ordered my food, and took it home for a solo movie night. It was just me and my chicken... and I can't forget to mention the pickled radish, which is also really tasty! I love you, Bon Chon!!!
The people who work here are very nice. They are very attentive. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted. They ask you if you would like to dine in or order to go and help you right away. I have eaten here with my mother twice. We had to order the Bulgogi tacos again because they are delicious! The rib eye is cooked to perfection! We had the parmesan fries the first time and they were good. We decided to try the Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice this time. We did not it was going to be spicy so be prepared but it was still good.
I ordered the small half and half combo last night which was a mixture of wings and drumsticks dressed in the soy garlic and spicy flavors. It came with a side of pickled radish. There are plenty of good KoFC joints around, but Bonchon takes the cake! It was incredible. Looking at the skin, you can see all the flavor in the nooks and crannies ready to make your palate come alive. The soy garlic pieces were nicely balanced. The sweet and sour notes danced in my mouth with the first crunch before settling on an herbal finish. And what a first crunch it was! As I sunk my teeth into the crisp, hot skin of a drumstick a wonderful plume of steam burst forth taking over my senses and surrounding me with a cloud of umami. The wings were a nice size. I usually stuggle with the flat pieces. I find they aren't very good unless fried and, even so, well done. These were a delight. The spicy wings were indeed spicy, and flavorful, but I could have used some sauce on the side. The picked radish was a nice touch and helped break up the flavors. I took this order to go. I hope to update my review with a full sit down session soon.
