Ecco - Costa Mesa

We enjoyed the tasting menus with wine pairings in the past and share this restaurant with strangers. Since they have expanded their menu choices with some of the best parts of tasting menus, they have reduced tasting menus to only 3. The original, vegan and vegetarian selections (which are lost on me) come from the original tasting. The owners are very hands and attacking people. Fortunately, they survived the pandemic.

Ultra high end gourmet breakfast! The open faced breakfast is great with a biscuit wrapped inside a sausage omelette, and topped with chipotle gravy. The caramel apple French toast is good with made from scratch caramel sauce. It comes in the style of bread pudding, but it's a bit dry. The coffee is amazing and served with nice heavy cream, and a complimentary little biscotti.

Nice experience.. different than a normal restaurant..went a rainy day for a breakfast..try to goat omlet and rabbit mole anddddd coffee...definite yes with a family to kick off the weekend..bit pricy but worth a dime..
