Pho Lantern Café in Costa Mesa, CA, offers excellent Vietnamese cuisine. We were seated promptly for dinner, and the food was enjoyable. However, the service could use some improvement, and the atmosphere was just average. If you're looking for a satisfying meal, this is definitely the place to go.
I ordered the Bún Tôm Chả Giò and received four shrimp—literally. The quality was good, but the beef pho was just average. Overall, I don't think it was worth $50 for a meal for two; that comes out to about $25 per person.
Just one of the best bowls of Pho I?ve ever had! Remarkable service? I'll be back.
PERFECTION. We ordered the chicken salad, filet mignon pho, spring rolls and vermicelli bowl. Everything was spot on delicious. Wish this spot was by my house. We?d eat here everyday.
