Tastea Costa Mesa

I come to this location at least once a week. A rainy Saturday afternoon I walk in and was asked if I am paying with Card. I affirmed I was and was directed to a self checkout kiosk I completed my order and wanted to add my rewards and attempted to get an employees attention and was ignored. Another employee comes and let's me know that I need to have a barcode scan on phone to add them in order to checkout but that THEY CAN TAKE MY ORDER. NO APOLOGY. I understand that they want to be efficient yet, they need to provide customer service at all times. I can see that they are overwhelmed maybe management needs to support them.As for the drinks they are always great which is why I come once a week.

They have an ipad kiosk for you to order off of if you 're paying card. I like that the kiosk was able to handle substitutions.We also tried their food the popcorn chicken was a miss for me. The mild had no spice to it at all. And this is coming from someone who is spice sensitive. The fry seasoning was good though! I 'd come back for that. They have sweet chili and ranch for sauces.

Wow i can't believe I haven't reviewed this Tastea location yet. This is one of my fav stores since i like visiting here after I visit my mom at the cemetery.Located in a busy shopping center as Stater Bros market next door to confetti Italian ice joint spot.Lots of parking right out front.Associate here is all so friendly and service is great too.My son been craving for popcorn chicken. And we love Tastea Karate Chicken. Ordered a large size w Weak sauce spice on the side. They gave the spice that looks like somewhat paprika seasoning to spice up the chicken on the side.The weak sauce now is given in packets.Mee my hubby got out free samples of my Fav refreshing drink. Peach Me Sweetea but with Stevia was being offered on the app for the new year.1.02.23I don't really care for the stevia edition. My fav is the original Peach me sweetea. It's a black tea with strawberry peach bits. Really refreshing.The Hot matcha milk tea sample was good. Something I'll actually order in the future for hot drinks especially during the cold rainy season. The matcha isn't too strong and over powering like some matcha drinks. Perfect blend indeed. Love it.The shop is a good size with the same decor like any other Tastea shops. Very simple and basic.Tip~download the Tastea Ap to receive deals promotions like free sample drinks along w a 5 bday month reward. Highly recommend it to also accrue points for future savings off.

Ambiance:N/a ordered togo.Food/drinks:Tea was burnt and bitter tasting. Instead of fixing the order by giving me correctly brewed tea when i pointed it out, they tried to rectify the situation by adding more sweetener. I didnt want more sweetener. I wanted decent tea in the first place. I never have this issue at any other tastea. I order the same thing every time. This particular tastea ruins it half the time. I'm done giving them chances.Service:Slow. I ordered in advance and it was still not ready beyond the time it was supposed to be ready. The order was also wrong twice. Wrong toppings. Bitter tea. Half an hour of my time was wasted. This location is absolute garbage. I recommend people take their business elsewhere.

Unpleasant experience. Rude cashier, wrong order, all and all just underwhelming.
