Toast Kitchen Bakery - Costa Mesa

Today's Sunday Grub-day adventure took me to Orange County. Although I wasn't with my usual foodie partner, I had a great substitute companion. It was my first time dining here, and I was not disappointed. The wait time was about 35 to 40 minutes, but it was definitely worth it!

Parking can be a bit challenging, but we were fortunate to find a spot nearby. Google Maps led us right to the restaurant. The staff mentioned a 30-minute wait, and it ended up being about 37 minutes, which I thought was a fair estimate. We ordered the ube French toast, ginger peach soda, and the sisig burrito. I particularly enjoyed the sisig burrito – it had a nice crunch from the chicharrón, paired perfectly with the tender pork belly. The ube French toast had just the right level of sweetness, and the ginger peach soda was refreshing.

This charming little hotel features incredibly friendly staff! Everyone enjoyed their meals, and I ordered the shareable ube French toast, which was delicious, though it felt a bit small for sharing between two people. I also tried the lavender passion soda, which was fantastic. The prices are reasonable given the portion sizes and delightful flavors. I’ll definitely be back next time!

Finally got a chance to check this place and was thrilled by how good it is. eating here is definitiw on the creative side and absolutely delicious. the aromen in the plate I got, sisig burrito, were perfect and well balanced. the matcha latte was also great. came during a weekday so it was not crowded at all. the personal was amazing and very hospitable, never rushed or anything.
