Contribuisci feedbackThe restaurant has a beautiful setting, but I have to agree with the previous review about the staff. In particular, there was a red-haired woman with a foreign accent who was extremely rude and abrupt. Our experience was terrible, and we just wanted to leave. We also heard other people complaining about her behavior, making it clear that we were not alone in our disappointment.
I stumbled upon this restaurant which is situated near several lakes and boasts a beautiful setting. The gardens are charming and the tables were well-spaced. The staff seemed friendly at first and the cakes appeared delicious. However, my experience quickly turned sour. The service was slow and neglectful, with the staff forgetting about us. While the food was tasty, it was overpriced for what it was and my meal was missing key components that they claimed were out of stock. When I provided feedback, it was not well-received, with no offer of goodwill or discount for the incomplete meal. I left feeling frustrated and unwilling to engage in a confrontation with the staff. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant and have no intentions of returning.
Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was not great from the beginning. There was no available parking in the car park, so we had to wait for a spot to open up. While waiting, I saw a large rat run in front of the building, which was quite off-putting. We specifically came to see the alpacas, which were located in a distant field and were barely visible. We only had coffee, so I cannot provide a review of the food, but it looked good. The interior had a shabby chic look and there was an outdoor seating area, which may not appeal to all customers. I would consider returning if we were guaranteed a closer view of the alpacas, but the presence of the rat was a bit of a turn off.

Great find. Tucked away near Cotswold Water Park this lovely cafe is a special place. We had breakfast today and were greeted warmly. In fact all the staff were super friendly. The breakfasts were very tasty, we had the Saxon. Gluten free options are readily available including a great range of cakes. We hope we will find time during our stay in the area to pop in again to have cake in the very pretty garden.
