Old George Inn - Cotswold

I made a reservation for a table on a Friday evening. The service was good, and I even had the chance to meet the owner, who was very friendly. The Baked brie starter was delicious, and the burger I ordered was made with high-quality ingredients and had great flavor. Overall, I wouldn't say this restaurant was amazing, but with a few small adjustments, it has the potential to be excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at The Old George Inn. The food was excellent, the owners were lovely and welcoming, and there was plenty of space for children to walk and play in the lovely back garden. My only concern was regarding a new employee behind the bar who appeared to be using drugs. I heard she had a history of drug use and stealing. This could potentially harm the reputation of this lovely place. Overall, I will definitely be visiting again as my experience was great. Thank you!

My father and I brought our small dog to the restaurant and they provided her with a bed to lay on, which was a very cute gesture. The food and wine were excellent. I enjoyed the wings, tarragon chicken, and sundae, all of which were delicious. My father had the calamari and steak of the day, which he absolutely loved. In addition to the amazing food, we asked the restaurant for a recommendation on a taxi company that accepts pets, but the manageress offered to have one of her staff drive us back instead. We were incredibly touched by this kind gesture. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and we had a truly lovely and unforgettable evening. We will definitely come back in the future and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Welcoming polite staff -also bought our dog a bed/drink and treat. Delicious hot food which wasn’t overpriced. We had steak and stilton pie which was very tasty. Overall lovely experience.
