I really enjoyed the back room with the locals and live music - a perfect combination. Although I didn't get to experience the beer garden because of the November weather, it looked fantastic. The service was excellent and friendly. The only downside is that the menu is a bit expensive for pub food, including the wine prices.
Again the Crawley Town Supporters were on their travels again and after losing the Majors Retreat when is closed down, we have been looking for another venue for our stop on the way to Forest Green Rovers what another gem we have found we don't like motorway service much so we find pubs that are just off the motorways or on our route to the games. Thanks to all the staff for making us extremely welcome and the food provided for all 53 on the coach was very good the Beer and Cider festival was a bonus as well we even managed to get the coach into the car park we stayed for an hour and a half hopefully the locals weren't to disrupted. We will hopefully visit again in the future.
We had high expectations after reading the reviews however we had a very disappointing experience with extremely poor quality of food and small portion sizes.
From the moment we entered pub we felt very welcome. We ate in the restaurant which is very cute and comfortable. Service was very good and we appreciated being allowed a break between courses. All our food was presented well, was piping hot and really tasty. Our wine was nicely chilled and a good price. A lovely evening out!
Once again, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at your restaurant. Our grandsons love your burgers the most. We were very happy with the good service.
