The house is stunning and beautifully decorated. It seemed to take a while to get us on our table, but once we sat well visited. The staff was pleasant, although it was again taken a little before our order. The soup starter (celeriac, Stilton £22 for two medium glasses Sauvignon Blanc. However, it did not stop us to enjoy lunch and we would definitely visit again.
We were treated for a special occasion and had a fabulous evening. The food was delicious, service was attentive and professional yet friendly and inconspicuous. The duck breast was excellent!
The food was usually very good and tasteful, although a very limited menu, especially the most important courses for vegetarians... only 1 option.......... so we have for 2 starters every and a dessert that was yummy.... the chocolate brownie... The service was very slow, although we were the only table at one point and although the staff were very polite and pleasant, they lacked va va va voom and the ability to make you feel special. The price structure seemed somewhat expensive, but would have been acceptable if the ambience and the service had the food overall an OK evening, but nothing to encourage a return soon
Had pre drinks in one of the lounges all beautifully decorated for Christmas and fires burning. Food was excellent and so was the service. Very relaxing evening.
Excellent food. Friendly but professional staff. Calm, relaxing atmosphere to share a meal with a loved one, family or friends.
