Had never been here to eat, didn 't seem too busy inside, and my classic car was parked right out front. So, in we go, 1pm. Sit down, waited 25 mins to get drinks and chips. Looked like 1 teen soft drink server, and 1 woman server/cashier. And I am not kidding, she seemed like she was stoned. Why is it so busy?! I didn 't think it would be this busy! I 'm all by myself... And then she 'd LAUGH! We waited...not kidding...another 35 minutes to order...4 TACOS! A few people that had ordered before us actually left, they gave up on waiting. When WE ordered, they were out of shredded chicken 3 hours after opening on a Saturday on their busiest day of the year! Our food didn 't take too long after we ordered maybe 15 minutes (4 tacos). The tacos and salsas were pretty good, might try it again, but NOT on a busy/event day. The owners have to get with the program though, and amp up their staff and food supplies on Game Day!
Excellent queso! They had a very limited menu, but it was very good! The fish and chips taco was awesome. It was had different toppings than I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. The Smoky Mountain Taco wasn't as good, it needed more meat for the price. Hopefully there will be more options on my next visit.
Absolutely one of the worst meals ever! Fantastic street of amazing restaurants…beware to those who venture in. Green salsa tasted like a can of green chilis. Ordered nachos…presentation looked like vomit! Also ordered street tacos…meat was at a premium….one gal was there to run the bar and bus the tables! She needs a raise! By the way, was informed by the waitress/bartender that half the menu was not available…so to lack of food!
They were out of almost everything, including guacamole, and more than half of the protein choices. We saw several people come in and leave without ever ordering, we should have followed suite. While there a customer at the bar (that was obviously friends with the bartender) made a joke about changing the name and putting a big KKK on the wall, I commented that that's a poor joke. And the bartender started rambling about having a Black friend some story about him making a joke that he was gonna sell confederate flags to the bikers. It made an uncomfortable situation even worse. I wish I could say the food made up for all of that- however it was mediocre at best.
Love this place for carne asada tacos. They are authentically all meat, nothing else just as they should be.
