Stella's Emporium - Coulsdon

I had a wonderful lunch with my partner yesterday. she is Greek and absolutely loved. stella is a great host and eating is nice. the shop and the caffe are also charming. I can't recommend enough. we will certainly return.

I love shopping at Stellas. The selection of foods is marvellous and we absolutely love the baklava (best I've tasted in the UK) and the other savoury and sweet nibbles are delicious. Stella is so friendly and helpful and always has a huge smile on her face. I would highly recommend to anyone, particularly if you love delicious Mediterranean foods.

Stella has been here for two years. A small shop with a big heart. When we are not in lock down you can sit outside and eat. At this time you are limited to browsing and buying her wonderful goods. You immediately feel welcome. Albeit that there is a washing station by the front door and Stella is wearing a mask, behind a plastic screen. You are greeted as you enter and someone will always answer your questions about the goods. Selling tins, dried, frozen and fresh you can make a great Greek evening without having to shop anywhere else. Starters, olives, cheeses, dips, bread there is an amazing choice for a They do little shop. Herbs, frozen dishes, meats and cous cous abound. Then sweets and cakes and biscuits too Drop in for a takeaway snack. Stella can do all the hard work, you can order food already prepared and collect. I am sure they can cater for larger groups but a mezze platter for 4 people is a piled high, and comes with dips and dessert all for about £20. Drop by it is a lovely shop, with a lovely Stella

Cannot rate this business highly enough. Stella is a wonderful lady and very hospitable. It's great to see a business owner taking such pride and showing a genuine care for customers. I thoroughly enjoyed the lounza with halloumi sandwich and the portions are good. The prices of product sold are reasonable considering there are not many other Greek Deli's around this area.

This morning i made a special journey up to old coulsdon to buy my lunch .I can't wait to eat it later ...Lovely shop ...when i get time i will be going back to look through the wide variety of other bits she as for sale .Thank you Stella for making my yummy lunch .
