Brooklyn Pizza Slice - County Durham

This restaurant has relocated from the market hall to North Street (once again Nudo Sushi Box). While they have been known for their sushi, their pizza is also worth mentioning. Having visited New York many times and enjoying the pizza there, I have high expectations for New York style pizza. I was not disappointed here. The pepperoni slices we had were perfect in every aspect. The crust was thin and crispy yet foldable, the sauce was delicious and moist, and the cheese and pepperoni toppings were spot on. It's simple, they don't make better pizza than this.

While on our way to another café, the enticing aroma of this place caught our attention and we decided to stop in. And what a fantastic decision it was! The pizza was absolutely amazing, and the chef was so friendly that he even made a special margarita pizza just for us. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and all for only £2.50. We will definitely be returning soon.

Just one guy and great pizzas, no staff. You can tell the ingredients are really good quality. Super tasty and good price. 2.40)

The pizza from this stall is amongst the best pizza I have eaten, seamlessly bridging the New York Slice style with some aspects of the Neapolitan (namely the crusts on the smaller 12 inch personal pizzas). The flavour combination he creates are fantastic, personal favourites...being: Ham and ricotta, Pepperoni, fresh mozzarella basil and tomato, and the balsamic, ricotta, and caramelise onion white pizza (which has dissapeared as of late sadly He uses san marzano tomatoes, which are regarded as the finest quality tomatoes one can get, period. The ingredients he uses are fantastic and he is always will to accommodate preference in how one wants it heated, allowing for extra crisipiness if you want! The price is phenomenally cheap which means I frequent the location once of twice a week. It really is a shame more people don't know how the stall as, in my opinion, it produces the best value and most delicious lunch time option you can get in Durham. Do not miss out!

I am not easily persuaded that there is a better slice of pizza in Durham. It simply doesn't get better than this. This restaurant is extremely popular and I understand why.
