Capriccio - County Durham

This is the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust was soggy and the cheese was greasy. The staff kept leaving the door open, so I had to constantly get up to shut it or sit in the cold. It was not a pleasant lunch experience.

I went there with a friend today. We ordered and most of the food was not available. The food came and the pizza and the chips were completely RAW! Waiters were rude and unfriendly. I will never go back there!

I 've madw this small cafe my 'go to ' EVERYDAY when I am,in Durham. Authentically Italian, with great coffee and excellent service. The pizzas are incredible, tasty, and archetypelly Itailan. Please support this fantastic traitorous!!

Absolutely diabolical in every way, other than the journey home! The rudest waiter in England flew into a rage when my dining companion and I decided we disliked the cake and flat white (which, for the record, tasted worse than the worst motel Nescafé swished around with alkaline and acid). The customary policy in this case is to apologise, perhaps offer a replacement and certainly decline to charge, but instead the waiter refused to waive the charge and barricaded the door to exact payment. He was also very aggressive, snarly and intimidating. This is coercion and intimidation. Absolutely appalling behaviour, with no place in a civilised western democracy. Vile and atrocious and thoroughly unpleasant. Do not go!

The welcome was unfriendly if not downright dismissive, and the rather expensive flat white tasted like grossly diluted instant coffee at best. I took it back to request a refund, which was denied and met with hostility. In addition, the man serving us did not wear a mask, which made us feel uncomfortable, and the bathroom was dirty. Disgraceful customer service, a complete waste of money, and an awful experience overall. Would never go back and would not recommend to anyone else.
