Unfortunately, our small dog is not permitted indoors. We suggest making the small enclosed room at the end of the bar dog-friendly. We hope this issue can be resolved.
Called for a meal to take advantage of the eat in scheme. Enjoyed our meal and special thanks to Matt who met us at the door, took details and looked after us.
Very poor food tbh there was nothing nice about anything pizza was something Iceland sells but not cooked .i wish I had of went to the local takeaway despite kids eating free x
If you want a quiet meal and drink, don 't go on a Saturday night, unless you enjoy the atmosphere of a social club! We made this mistake when we first arrived at the holiday site. However, we returned on two further occasions during our week 's stay and enjoyed good (basic) food and a much quieter, more enjoyable ambiance. The 'curry night ' deal was a very good offer and the staff obliged with a portion of chips in lieu of the naan bread for my husband who is a coeliac. We enjoyed a further meal from the main menu which was also tasty, hot and offered good value for money. We would have no hesitation in returning if we were visiting the area again.....just not on a Saturday night!
Came here with my mother (a home owner of the kingfisher site) looking forward to the new decor ‘renovation’ and food menu’ etc and was so disappointed with the cheapest of the cheap food!!! I’m of a small frame, not a big eater and the food portions were so minimal...I dread to think if I brought my husband who is a big eater. The menu was abismal I sat struggling for 20 minutes as nothing on there sounded tasteful. I then settled for ‘homemade’ corned beef pie with mushy peas ‘skin on’ chips and gravy....and believe me this is a dish I would never normally opt for, I was then served with I would say a 6th of plate of pie (this tiny little triangle of a portion) not skin on chips and a little pot of mushy peas. The price tag does not match this eateri....£30 with wine. I could have had a beautiful meal and a nice glass of wine elsewhere. DREADFUL!!! ps What renovation!
