Emilio's Italian - County Durham

The restaurant has a nice and relaxed atmosphere with delicious food, especially the fillet steak and wine. We ended our meal with flambed crepes.

The staff, including the management, were extremely unprofessional at this restaurant. They were seen doing paperwork on the floor while customers were eating, which was very off-putting. The service was slow and disorganized, and the food was overcooked and poorly presented. The taste was awful, as if the oil had been reused multiple times. Overall, the meal was extremely overpriced for the low quality. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

I would not recommend dining at this restaurant. The staff are disorganized, the order was incorrect, and the gravy tasted like cheap bisto granules. Save your money and try one of the better restaurants in Durham instead.

I have been here on a few occasions, once at xmas with a big party (60+ and the service was still very good and the food was divine, I had the duck which was gorgeous. I have also been in smaller parties with family and food lovely every time

When this was truly Emilios as has new name now it was very good. Now a much more limited menu which should make the food better but it doesnt. Very average and better places to eat, try Zizzi or even a Pizza Express
