Grill N Chill - County Durham

Location is fantastic and the ambience inside is great but I was quite disappointed in the food: it was average. The portion sizes are really small for how much you pay. My family was quite surprised. Then there’s the price: £12 for a biryani that is half the size of what you’ll get in any Indian restaurant and 50% more expensive. We also ordered grilled kebab which was Meh; some chunky tandoori chicken pieces with off-the-shelf pita bread, salad and sauces and a small packet of chips. I still felt hungry afterwards. Overall this place is good if you’re strapped for time just want to eat. Service was very fast. It is in a prime location but if you’re willing to drive out 10-15 mins, I’m sure there are better value food places.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with number of dishes on menu. Halal chicken and meat is served here. We had Lamb Curry and Naan from Grill n Chill. Food is served fresh and piping hot. Portion was good sized. One lamb curry dish was enough for two adults.

Delicious food, very large portions, we didn't wait too long even though the room was almost full, very efficient service and nice atmosphere. The place was expanded with an additional room so we didn't have to wait for a free table. We will definitely come back there

Highly recommend this restaurant, the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and you will surely enjoy your meal. Thank me later, but as Arnie would say, I'll be back! Cheers!

I just saw the food at BLOT Outdoors and it looks absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go try it out.
