Mad Hatter's Tea Room - County Durham

Im a regular customer of this fabulous tea room. The staff are really friendly. Food is amazing as ive basically had all on menu. No complaints. Fair priced also.

We decided to go for some food after work and we picked the mad hatters and honestly I’m so glad we did . On arrival the lady that was there was so lovely said we could sit anywhere and she would come and take our order for us . And the food was amazing . Me and my wife will definitely be back

The service was absolutely amazing, me and my partner popped in for some cake and coffee and the chocolate fudge cake looked delicious. We ended up ordering it with pouring cream and it was absolutely delightful. Will definitely be back!!

Awful overpriced coffee served in chipped dirty crockery.. The whole place smelt of old grease. Steer clear!

What a lovely cafe. Great staff I only had to mention I could only eat very small meals and they offered this. Settled on scrambled egg on toast. Plus nice pot tea. Very friend friendly.
