N Citrone - County Durham

I visited this restaurant four years ago and made a promise to myself to bring my wife back to try their delicious milky coffee. Despite it being late in the day, the staff happily served us our drinks with extra milk and a sandwich. It was a perfect stop during our long drive up north. Wonderful!

Citrones has been a fixture on Chester High Street for as long as I can recall. This down-to-earth cafe offers honest, affordable food that is perfect for a quick break and a coffee while shopping. The atmosphere is generally bustling but not overly noisy, and it is a popular spot among locals. Owned and operated by a family, Citrones always provides a warm and friendly welcome.

I have been frequenting this restaurant since I was a child. It used to be a place for tea cakes and milkshakes, but now they serve a delicious traditional full English breakfast. It's still just as good as it always was.

Coffee was fantastic, eating was ok, sausage could do with a better meat content for the price, service was quick to get a place was easy without waiting, would use again
