Beaver Convenience - Courtenay

This is a take-out place. I heard good things but I won't go back. Soggy dough and minimum toppings.

I used to rave about beaver pizza but tonight it was very basic not very much ham or pineapple not like I remember i won’t be coming back.

Take and bake or have them bake it for you. Conveniently located close to shopping and North Island College.

Was looking for pizza joints in the area as I was not sure what was near me and I fund the Beaver Convenience store and they made pizza. I did a little research and reviews were good so I took a chance and glad I did. I ordered the Canadian Eh! pizza which was pepperoni, mushroom and bacon. It was excellent. I called for the order to go and was told it would be 45 minutes and I showed up and in 6 minutes the pizza was out of the oven. It was a thicker crust with thick toppings. Lots of cheese and for $20 for the medium, I thought it was well priced. A hidden gem for sure.

This charming little shop has a wide variety of items, but it doesn't carry the major grocery items you'd typically find in a bigger shopping mall.
