Country Market - Courtenay

This country market and restaurant on the outskirts is incredibly nice and cool. The food is delicious and tasty, the staff is friendly, and the customer service is great. The restaurant is very clean and overall a fantastic place to visit. Check it out, you'll love it. It's a peaceful spot.

We have never had a disappointing meal at the CCM restaurant. Everything is made in-house with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. They offer a great selection of breakfast options and nightly specials. The Halibut and Chips are consistently delicious. We order takeout from there every Wednesday. Just be aware that they close early, so make sure to get there by 6:30 or you may miss out. They also have a fantastic grocery store right next door. Overall, highly recommended.

We have tried the fish and chips at this restaurant before and knew they could make excellent food, but on Wednesday at 4:30 we were extremely dissatisfied. I was shocked when I opened the dinner box and saw the yellow, broken halibut. Halibut is not cheap and we do not have it often, so it is very special to us when we do. The fries were also a shock - they appeared boiled and very dry. We should have returned the meal, but time was of the essence as we were heading back to Campbell River. I ate what I could and left the rest. Despite this disappointing experience, the restaurant usually serves very delicious food and the staff are friendly and lovely. We will definitely return, but I am not sure about ordering the fish and chips again. Note: it was take-out only and there were no disinfection products in the bathroom to clean your hands.

Before ordered fish and chips, but when there was line-up, food was in the heated display case, but stood in line for 10 minutes, was cold and inconspicuous when eating it. Very unused. Have eaten here, food is generally good.

A great place for a family meal. Food is good and the service is always friendly. Grab a meal then pick up a few groceries. Oh and the milkshakes, made the old fashion way, are great . Great place for kids, our grandkids love “CCM”
