Red Tree Specialty Coffee - Courtenay

This coffeehouse is located in fun and eclectic Tin Town, a few minutes from downtown Courtenay. It is definitely worth the extra few minutes drive! Lots of comfy seating inside and picnic tables outside. Your drink is prepared lovingly by the baristas who are in their happy place. Enjoy your latte, matcha, or chai in a gorgeous mug (designed by Katy Fogg who owns the cafe with her hubby Simon). Katy has her lovely creations for sale too! I bought one and love it! A perfect destination if you are on your own or have your kiddies in tow.

Nice spot in Tin Town to drop in for a custom made Almond Milk Chai and one of their apple treats. Not too busy at 3;30 on friday so able to get quick service and find a comfortable seat. Lots of reading and art pieces to look at plus the doors are left open to pick up any breezes.

Go to 2456 Rosewall Crescent, Red Tree's 2nd location. It is a real café, not the convenient kiosk on the riverside trail. Same great coffee with meals and goodies, and close to downtown as well. Locals call it 'Tin Town'. - past the tracks, right off 26th, if coming from town.The café is a veritable art gallery, just beautiful! We loved it. There is a good selection of tables to sit at. The service was excellent.There is an area for children to play in.Free Wi-Fi too.

We often do the river walk on the weekend with our dogs, and we love to stop at Red Tree Specialty Coffee along the way. Their Americanos are the best in town. Their coffee is so rich and delicious. Love that it's locally roasted. Service is so friendly, and if you want to sit outside and enjoy it they have nice seating where you can relax and watch families and pets walk by.
