The salted pretzel we ordered was placed on a pretzel with meat, which was disappointing as my friend and I are both vegetarian and avoid eating food that has come into contact with meat. Overall, the experience was just okay, but it could have been improved.
The mini pretzel dogs were extremely unappetizing, with undercooked sausage, burnt buns, and an oily residue all over. It was a disappointing experience.
I wanted to ask about the menu items because they looked and smelled delicious, but the waitress's responses were too quiet and difficult to understand every time she spoke. Eventually, I got frustrated and decided to go somewhere else.
I had been wanting to try Auntie Anne's for some time and was excited to find one in Coventry. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location was nice, although it was quite busy in the shopping center. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The food was underwhelming - the vanilla pretzel I ordered tasted okay, but seemed like it had been sitting on a hot plate for a while as it had a slightly stale texture. The flavor was good, though. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which was equally disappointing. It wasn't terrible, but there was an odd taste that I couldn't quite identify, which made it unenjoyable. The texture was nice and velvety, but overall it was just okay. The total price was £5.70, which I didn't think was worth it. I may give Auntie Anne's another try in the future and try a slushie and cinnamon pretzel, but for now I would recommend going to Mr Pretzel instead, as their pretzels are always soft and fresh.
The staff at this restaurant is always cheerful and friendly. They often provide samples as well. The food quality is outstanding, the best I have ever had. If they offered more deals, I would give them 5 stars.
