Ball Hill Diner - Coventry

Great experience as always. Used to come weekly when i was at uni as we lived across the road. We now visit every time we are back in coventry. Great breakfast, great price, great service Unfortunately, some of the American diner decor has been removed, im not sure why. Also lost one star for minimal vegan options, a plant milk should be a basic option in 2024, you can get these in long life sachets these days!

Disgusting breakfast. 3 mouth fulls and had to leave it sausage and bacon cheap. Added Brown sauce to hide the taste, and that made it worse. It was like vinegar. Never again will I go there. Grease seaping through the beans.

My wife loves this place and I've never been overly impressed, but only because I am a coffee snob and the BHD only has instant Nescafe. Despite this we went for Sunday breakfast and was really impressed because (a) the breakfast I had was excellent and only £4 and (b) when I asked if I could go buy a coffee from elsewhere and have this with my breakfast (some places would have said no) I was told that it was fine. That is a sign of a good/helpful cafe, and that is why I wanted to post a positive review. So, we shall definitely return, and thanks to the BHD staff too.

Phenomenal Sunday roast today (1st August) ordered 2 roast beef and 1 roast pork, couldn’t fault the size and the fresh vegetables and the amount of meat provided. Defiantly worth the £9.00. Defiantly will be back for a cheeky treat!! thank you all should be so proud of yourselves x
