Indian Village Coventry

Very sweet lady Good options for Indian variety and reasonably prices. I did a light dinner for two in 13 pounds!!

This little place is opposite the entrance to Pool Meadow along with 2/3 other studenty eateries and I have passed it many time and thought it looks interesting and it is! We had lunch there yesterday and both went for veggie type wraps, it seems their specialty is the title dish. We didnt have much time so we just ordered a couple of wraps and a jug of water and the wraps were delicious, my friend had some mixture with cauliflower and I had spud, tomatoes, onions and a fantastic sauce. I would really like to try the meat dishes next time. We good a good sized snack and the bill came to around £6.00 for both of us. The lady who may be the owner was delightful and apologised for the slow service as she was short staffed but we didn 't notice having to wait too long. This place serves very tasty food at a very reasonable price I think it is for the student market on the way to uni but it is great for grown ups too.

Indian food away from home. We used to visit it frequently. yummy food. Lassi is also very good. Must visit in coventry.

I read that this restaurant used to be excellent in the past. I recently tried one of their vegetarian curries, which was decent. However, their Aloo and paneer parathas were outstanding and authentic from an Indian perspective. Since they offer authentic Indian parathas, I would give them a very good rating.

The service at this restaurant is terrible! Most of the time, they don't have many items on their menu available. They only offer a few options to choose from, and I have never received my exact order when dining there. The staff constantly tries to persuade you to change your order and select something else, which can be frustrating when they don't have anything you actually want, despite having a wide variety of dishes listed on the menu. This all happened during their busiest hours! The staff is rude, the customer service is awful - overall, it's simply not worth it.
