First visit here over the weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Varied menu with many tempting options, my food was delicious. My only criticism is that it was a fairly small portion, but that wouldn’t stop me returning.
Came across this by chance. Tuesday night it was empty but inviting decor so we tried it. So glad. Not an extensive menu but we tried various dishes and each was fresh and tasty. Excellent service. I would imagine this place is buzzing on party nights. We are not local but would go again if ever in Coventry. If you crave a taste of Polish/Ukraine food, treat yourself. Starter main, with beer £42 between the two of us. Parking nearby but could be a challenge at busy times.
We visited this restaurant as we found a business card and wanted to try something Polish. The meal was very tasty but portions are far from generous. As you can see on the picture Schabowy (pork chop in breadcrumbs was tiny. And for £12 I would expect something more filling... My wife liked pierogi though. Overall it was ok but not jaw dropping... I must add though that the child version of fish fingers was quite good. :
First of all the name of this restaurant is Slovianka (not Slowianka as shown on Trip Advisor) however if you are in 83 Far Gosford Street, Coventry you are in the right place. This is a wonderful restaurant serving authentic Polish food. There is an interesting varied menu and the meal we had here was delicious. The staff are delightful, very friendly and attentive. Good Polish beer and we had a very nice merlot. Well worth a visit.
