I've been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years and things have changed. I miss the old days where they used to bring out your lobster and remove it from the shell it in front you, take off the shrimp from the skewers. It seems like nowadays I can't even get the salad mixed for me. Then the table next to me gets the salad mixed for them. It may not seem like a big deal but when you're spending $200 for a meal I expect to get what I'm supposed to get including service.. very inconsistent, portions are smaller but the food still good so ....
It's been a couple of years since we've been. Still have good food service.
Eerie and horribly upsetting. Atmosphere was unwelcoming from the start as we had to wait for our full party to arrive in order to be sat despite the majority of my party already being in attendance. Once we were sat, before even having a chance to look at the menu, we were greeted by Trevor who rudely told us our service animal was unwelcome and needed to be “taken outside” which was not only ridiculous as it is no less than 95° outside but also the patio was closed which is inconsiderate for those with service animals to enjoy the establishment. The attitude we received was unacceptable and ruined my daughter’s special day as she walked out in tears.
I will never go to this establishment again. I have a licensed service animal and tried to go there for a snack planning to sit in the bar area and was treated so very disrespectful by staff member Adam. I have been traveling all day and was very tired. I was just waiting to put in my order when he approached me and started asking questions about the service animal and his service. A bit thrown off guard as I’d have never experienced quite the rudeness, I apparently did not answer his question to his liking. Knowing the ignorance of some people, I nicely explain the service again and showed him my business card. That did not suffice and he continue to argue with me about it and then just walked away. At that moment I decided I was not going to give this business my money. So I left. as I didn’t initially get his name I went back in to find him and he was behind the partition, literally talking smack about me and my service animal at that moment. I used to visit this restaurant all the time when I lived in the area. I just wanted to eat a snack and have a drink. I would never have thought I would experience such arrogance and disrespect. I will never think about going there again and I urge others in the area that may be thinking of going to just go to In-N-Out up the street on Azusa! They were awesome friendly and respectful.
