We were told that whatever was on display was all they had left for the day because they get the bagels delivered from another location. Rush hour is usually from opening to around 9am on friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These are usually the days where they run out of bagels early, so if you plan on buying some to go, you should come early in the morning. We ordered the Atlantic, the egg, cheese, and turkey bagel, half a dozen of gourmet bagels (jalapeño cheese and sun dried tomato), 8oz jalapeño cream cheese and a Vietnamese coffee. The breakfast bagels were warm, yummy, and filling. The bagels’ dough is chewy and fresh. The girls behind the counter were also helpful in answering all the questions I had. Overall, good service and good food.
Came to get a salmon bagel sandwich. Staff are not friendly, the place is empty (on a Saturday morning red flag), and pricing is 20 30% higher, for lower quality bagels, compared to nearby competition. Would not come back.
If you are looking for a good bagel and coffee, come here! They have amazing craft bagels which I assume are baked in house because they are SO light and fluffy. They have every kind of savory and sweet flavor you could imagine. I've ordered them toasted with cream cheese and to go for home. I've also decked them out with all kinds of veggies and had them lox style- all delicious! Recommendations: JALEPENO AND CHEESE GARLIC SPINACH AND ASIGO THE WORKS They also have great quality Vietnamese coffee and AMAZING fresh pressed juices. I stopped in here with a friend and studied for hours once, ordered some delicious bagel sandwiches and had a wondrous day. If I could stop here every morning, I would! Thank you for having such great quality food and drinks and THANK YOU HUNG for your hospitality. I will always support this business because of the wonderful environment you create!
What can I say as I think this Brooklyn boy found his spot. I don't live too far from this place but I thought I'd try it out. I thought Well I do drive 20 mi for a nice bagel with cream cheese and lox and then a friend of mine recommended to go to this place which who knew was only a few blocks away. I was amazed to enjoy myself my favorite bagel the works with cream cheese and lox. Thank you guys at The Bagelry Covina for saving me long trips ?
The bagel itself is delicious.I didn’t realize, though, that you have to ask for cream cheese or else you’re having yourself a dry as heck bagel. Also, they forgot to put the sprouts that I asked for but they sure did charge me for them. ?
