El Chaparro Tex-mex Cantina - Covington

Our server, Pablo, provided a horrible experience for us. After receiving most of our food, he disappeared and we later found him enjoying his dinner in the back booth with coworkers while we were still waiting for 2 kids meals and drink refills. We had to ask 2 other servers for drink refills. When we finally asked him about the kids meals, he rushed to put their orders into the computer. We were left wondering why the kids meals were not entered when we initially ordered. When we asked him why it took so long, he avoided giving a clear answer. The manager eventually came over and stood behind our table discussing the situation with Pablo. Despite their claims that they were not talking about us, it was obvious to us that they were. The food at this restaurant is very good and excellent. The service is top-notch. We dined in for dinner and the price per person is between $20-30. The food received a rating of 4, the service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 5. We highly recommend trying the Fajitas de Carne.
