Sambreros Tex-mex Cantina - Cowes

We had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive without any updates from the staff. After noticing several other tables also waiting for over an hour, we inquired about our order. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. We recommend avoiding this restaurant if you do not want to wait an excessive amount of time for your meal.

The service at this restaurant was fairly good. The food was just mediocre as the ingredients did not seem fresh, but it's important to note that we only had one dish. The Mexican rice was enjoyable. The decor of the restaurant was lovely. Surprisingly, the food arrived quickly, especially considering it was midweek.

We quickly went to this restaurant after watching the penguin parade and had a fantastic meal. The tequila helped to warm us up on a winter night, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and more with the whole group and everyone loved it. The salsa was amazing, just the right amount of spice for me but not too spicy for the kids. I liked that there were corn chips on the table when we arrived. The food was very authentic with a wonderful atmosphere, as shown in the pictures.

Food was great, went here for dinner on a holiday, and had a blast. The food was amazing, but took a while to arrive. It was a long wait but I would say it was worth it, hence my 5 star on the food. The atmosphere was very welcoming and homelike, but a little cold. Would recommend to anyone staying in P hillip island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Samberos. Food was well prepared and delicious. Do not miss dessert. The cinnamon crisps were the best thing I have eaten in ages. Sweet sweet heaven. The staff were friendly. Service was fast. The booths were comfortable and some families with younger kids enjoyed it too. Prices were very reasonable. Highest recommendation
