You can eat out here. the brot that came with the meal was great and when I asked for more, they gave it without additional costs and in a greater variety than the first portion.
Came to the breakfast and was great. I had the mushroom omelet with homemade bread, coffee freshly pressed juice. very friendly and beautiful atmosphere sitting outside. recommended.
Saw this place recommended in the Moon Guide to Mexico City by Julie Mead good guide book by the way) and decided to walk there after a fabulous morning at the Frida Kahlo Museum, Casa Azul. Tables are outside on the pavement in the...shade of plants and the shop is open to the street. Delicious food, great salads, juices and very good Mexican coffee. They make their own artisan breads, which we happily sampled and are miles apart from the sweet white bread usually served up in most places. Try some! Trays of pastries kept appearing from the kitchen and there was a steady stream of customers buying those and of diners sitting down. Nice layed back vibe and helpful waiters, would definitely recommend it and would definitely go back.
Lots of delicious menu choices for vegetarians, but also for anyone looking for healthy, tasty, organic options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return, and will highly recommend to any travelers I know visiting the lovely and historic Coyoacan neighborhood.
