It started to rain as I headed back home, empty handed. Thankfully I saw this little place on the corner and decided to get out of the rain I was on a scooter and get tacos to go for my travelling companion and myself. I was definitely glad I did. The corn tortillas are hand made I watched them make them myself and the ingredients were as fresh as you could get. And the tacos? Delicious! With the US$ doing as well as it has been, I got 4 fish tacos, 4 port tacos and 2 shrimp tacos for about $10. A great bargain for great tacos. La Sirenita The Little Siren in Spanish is definitely a place that lures in lonely, hungry voyagers such as myself and feeds them well for their journey back to their condo, on their scooters, in the rain. Well, at least it did for me. ;
Fell into it by accident. It's run by four or five (or more? women who seem to be related. SUPERB fish tacos! You really taste the corn of the taco (it was soft-shell , the fish is Grouper (yum! , and the house made sauces (a hot sauce, and a mayonnaise were tremendous! Fresh O.J. (yum, again ! Great value. My 20-something kids all loved the place, too! Highly recommend the experience!
