Small place, looks like a igloo inside. Many fans were so cool enough. We drove our bikes for 3 minutes and ate our faces. I wish we had found this before! They also accept credit cards that were a nice surprise. Will definitely come back before we go. Run by sweet little Mexican ladies who speak very good English (they also have a menu in English). Covered seats also outside when the weather is allowed.
If you want to serve authentic Queensadillas with warm Mexican hospitality, you need to drive past to see Doña Pili! We were three people and tried every quesadilla on the menu. My favorite was definitely the chicharrón prensado, with rajas con crema is a tight second. Wash them with delicious Jamaica or Horchata. The restaurant is immaculate, and the staff take care of the social distancing label, so tables are locked, so there is never too full, and there is hand sanitizer at the entrance. The bathrooms are also impeccable. Doña Pili 's quesadillas definitely me hacen chupar los dedos! and we went back the next morning. I think that says everything, no? Doña Pili!
Great place for breakfast or lunch. The quesadillas are very tasty and varied and don't forget to try the cucumber juice made on the premises- it's wonderfully refreshing.
On 30th St. there are several Street side restaurants but this small family restaurant promises to be one of the best. Not only is the food fast, the family friendly, but the atmosphere was better then you could possibly imagine. They have corn tortillas that were different than almost all corn tortillas and adding cheese kept all the food together making for a tasty treat.
The food is delicious, crazy cheap, and the service is fantastic. I'm glad they survived the pandemic.
