Las Flamitas - COZUMEL

Este es uno de los mejores lugares para almorzar comida casera en Cozumel. Los precios son muy accesibles y el menú muy variado. Recomiendo comer la parrillada que alcanza perfectamente para dos personas.

When I say hidden, I do mean hidden. After multiple attempts at trying to find it after stumbling upon this place last year by myself, we found it again! It seems to be in between two blocks calle 2 and calle 3. Authentic is the first word that comes to mind, with delicious being the second word. The food was so flavorful and the staff so very kind! Chicken mole is my favorite dish, though hard to come by; these guys have the best. We ordered the chicken mole, chicken mole and verde enchiladas, and some horchata. Y'all, so incredible! Great incredible local comida corrida lunch/brunch everything in the menu is sooo yummy, inexpensive clean. A favorite over 20 years!

Wednesday, ask for comida del dia..dish of the day... soup with some vegetables , soft tortillas , with 2 amazing chile relenos, mixte... one with cheese and the other with beed. This is garnsihed with fresh tomatoes puree..and a reef barrier of rice separating the refried beans sauce. This was just excellent, poblano used were just ... wish I had more...fantastic. There is no AC but there are fans almost everywhere. This is a very local restaurant.

We wanted something authentic, where the locals go to eat. The tour guide told us he and his wife eat here regularly and recommended it. Hands down best decision! We were welcomed with multiple spicy dips on the table, as well as the BEST bean dip. My family had beef fajitas and quesadillas. We LOVED it all! Big portions and small costs. Can't say that I can feed 4 people fajita meals with sodas and a tip for under 30bucks in the usa. Total 8 in our party at the table, they accommodated our group well and we got there just in time as shortly after we arrived, the place got busy. We were full and happy! Will most certainly visit this little gem the next time we are in Cozumel. Great food, great service!
