Uvas Restaurant by Chef La Perlita

Food and drink are still good, but prices are out of sight! This used to be a fun little beach restaurant, but I'm thinking that since they got on the cruise ship itinerary, they've gotten a little full of themselves. Lunch for six of us (a drink and an entree) was $167.90. No kidding. Friends of ours just had lunch there (2 adults, 2 kids) for just under $100. Maybe in October they change their ways, but in March? Try another.

Good Prices, Awesome food and even better service. The Lion fish meal I had was amazing. My wife and kids greatly enjoyed there meals as well. Am going back there the next time we are in Czm.

We spend our day at Uvas 10/17 with the fam (15 people) and had a great time. This is a nice place for snorkeling, I took one of the free snorkeling trips with Eliud (tour guide) and he was awesome! he even takes pics and videos of you snorkeling. Also the service was great, our waiter (Reyes) was great, delivered food on time and made some awesome drinks for us. The bartender was also a super cool guy and made some BOMB drinks!!. We had a great time at UVAS and will definitely come back here next time we are in Cozumel.

We tried this restaurant one afternoon as it was only two doors down from the house we were renting. The drinks were OK, food only OK and the service was also only OK. There are much better places in Coz to go although the beach setting can't be beat. We just happened to be there when there was a large group (perhaps a wedding party) and they were rather rowdy. Not that that is bad but it didn't do much for the atmosphere. Maybe we hit it at a bad time but we only gave this restaurant one shot....

Buen sazón, excelente atención, lugar limpio y agradable, pero MUY caro para lo que es. Fue la cuenta más cara de 10 días en Cozumel y la verdad en resumen comimos "quesadillas de camarón", recomendable, pero hay que gastar.
