The Sizzling Pickle Eatery Lounge

You can never be sure what to expect when you visit an unfamiliar restaurant in a new town. However, at The Sizzling Pickle, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, exceptional service, and lively atmosphere. My lunch was a complete success; the chili cheese dog, the hamburger special, and the fries were all outstanding.

I've dined there several times, and unfortunately, my orders have taken over an hour to be served. On one occasion, I had to pay for my drink and leave without a meal because I only have a one-hour lunch break. While the wait staff is very attentive and that part of the experience is great, it's disappointing that they struggle to deliver food in a timely manner.

I was really disappointed during my recent visit. In the past, the food was great, the service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. This time, there weren't many customers, we ordered quickly, but then we waited over 30 minutes before anyone checked on us again. A large order arrived, and it seemed like ours was pushed aside. The food was average, no better than any other burger joint. Once we finally got our meals, the checks came out quickly, but they even added a 4% convenience fee for card payments. Unfortunately, this has made me reconsider what used to be my favorite place to eat while I'm in Craig.

I have dined there several times and have often experienced wait times of over an hour from the time I placed my order until my food was served. There have been occasions when I had to pay for my drink and leave without a meal because I only have an hour for lunch. On the positive side, the wait staff is very attentive, which makes that part of the experience enjoyable. It’s just unfortunate that the food service is not as timely.

I ordered the double double burger, and it was thick, juicy, and had a delightful grilled flavor. The service was excellent and friendly. I’ll definitely stop by again before I leave town. Thank you!
