Sofia Bistro - Craiova

The food was very good, good value for money. The waiters are nice, the food came quickly enough. The ambiance is very cozy.

Staff: Our server was very friendly and extremely quick. He got our drinks roughly 1 2mins after we ordered. I dropped my knife at one point during the evening and although I didn 't think he was around to see it he quickly appeared with a replacement for me. Atmosphere: The decor was very modern, the tables and chairs had an eclectic vibe and despite being a generously sized eating space it felt very homely and cosy. My girlfriend and I agreed that it felt as if we were eating in the converted dining room of a fancy manor. The music was nice and low, enough so you could hear and enjoy it while eating but not enough to ruin conversation. Cleanliness: The toilets were VERY clean as well as the tables, chairs and pretty much anywhere else I looked. The light was flicking in the toilet which is annoying but forgivable. Something to note though is that the toilets for women are very small and those for the men are pretty big. Food: In general the food tasted very good. I would prefer they didn 't salt the bread that came to us and my mother in law said her meal was too salty too. I had Pizza Sofia which I would definitely recommend! It 's arguably the best pizza I have had in Craiova. All the fish is frozen and although tasty, it 's definitely not 'WOW '.

This place was really nice with chosen decoration mostly white. They have huge ventilators enjoyable in summer time. The menu is so huge with all the plates you can imagine si I was scared when I ordered my choice. At the end, everyone around the table was happy because the food was, not excellent, but good. The service was ok. So the final note will be average to good. Do something for the temperature into the wc because it is so hot in there.

Started out very well when it was not so busy. Good food. Very large menu with maybe too much to choose from. Whrn it got busier service slowed down massively. Had to wait forever for dessert and bill. Terrace can be very noisy from the street.

Vista la temperatura , abbiamo prenotato un tavolo all'aperto sotto la veranda da poco costruita . E' stata una buona scelta , ottima sistemazione e buona la cena . La cucina offre piatti della tradizione rumena e anche piatti italiani . Non ho azzardato gli spaghetti , nel menù in tanti modi anche alla bolognese (sic !!! ) , e dopo una ciorba ho preso un ottimo petto di pollo con patate . Infine il dolce , papanac ovvero una bomba calorica con la marmellata di mirtilli . Ottimo il vino bianco secco .
